The March 2009 Mission to Sderot, Israel

Operation Embrace Mission participants visit Orel, age 7, who sustained a severe head injury from a grad missile that fell in his hometown of Be'er Sheva.  Orel is now paralyzed on the right side of his body.  OE is providing financial assistance to Orel's family to help with a multitude of needs.

On March 10th, OE sponsored a trip to Jerusalem for bat mitzvah girls from Sderot who have been unable to celebrate their bat mitzvahs.  Rabbi Rabinovich, the rabbi of the Kotel distributed individualized Bat Mitzvah certificates for each of the girls.
